Arthur M. Young

Arthur M. Young

Arthur Middleton Young (1905 - 1995) was the inventor of the Bell Helicopter.  He graduated in mathematics from Princeton University in 1927.  He worked on his invention privately in the 1930s, and in 1941 assigned patents to Bell Aircraft and worked with this foirm.  In 1952 he created the Foundation for the Study of Consciousness.  He is author of The Reflexive Universe and The Geometry of Meaning, as well as a number of other papers and tapes.  His work integrates cosmology, philosophy, physics, mathematics, consciousness, Theosophy, mythology, cybernetics, and evolution.
