Arthur Middleton Young (1905 - 1995) was the inventor of the Bell Helicopter.  He graduated in mathematics from Princeton University in 1927.  He worked on his invention privately in the 1930s, and in 1941 assigned patents to Bell Aircraft and worked with this foirm.  In 1952 he created the Foundation for the Study of Consciousness.  He is author of The Reflexive Universe and The Geometry of Meaning, as well as a number of other papers and tapes.  His work integrates cosmology, philosophy, physics, mathematics, consciousness, Theosophy, mythology, cybernetics, and evolution.

The Theory of Process is based on number theory, geometry and topology, and also Theosophy, astrology, mythology and many other subjects.  Developed by Arthur Young in his Reflexive Universe and later writings, it has been further extended by others.  There is too much to summarise here, so the reader is referred to the relevent on-line materialavailable at the Arthur Young Home Page
